AY Live 2017: Fans shuts down Eko hotel for comedy show

Lagos shuts down Eko hotel for comedy show

Kenny Blaq, Osama, came through with their aura of distinctive stage persona, making beautiful music and cracking jokes at the same time.

The annual AY Live comedy show 2017 held at the splendid Eko hotel & suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Arguably one of the biggest comedy concerts in Nigeria, the event which had kicked off at 9:00 pm, saw guests arrive in droves at Eko hotel.

 

A rich lineup of acts were expected to come out and give fans a show and they didn't disappoint!

Freeze and AY were official hosts for the evening, while DJ Consequence provided the music.

Big Brother contestants, Efe, Bisola, CoCo Ice Thin Tall Tony, Kemen, Debbie Rise, Uriel, Ese, Boma, T-Boss, and others were present.

 

CoCo Ice performed, right after Soma who had a mellow performance, bringing the energy to warm up the crowd for more exciting performances to come.

Comedians Pencil and Ajebutter armed with their voice earned a resounding applause from the audience at every round of their performance.

 

Kenny Blaq, Osama, came through with their aura of distinctive stage persona, making beautiful music and cracking jokes at the same time.

Tekno thrilled the crowd with his sheer energy and range of crowd favourite songs, as Davido came through with 'Dami duro' with fireworks all over the stage.

The OBO  performed his classics and his reigning song 'IF' to the joy of the fans and the audience went wild.

 

Celebrities that were spotted on the carpet include Alibaba, I Go Dye, Okey Bakassi, Paul Okoye (Psquare), Helen Paul, Akpororo, Majek Fashek, Funke Akindele, Adesua Etomi, Alexx Ekubo, Ik Ogbonna, Toyin Aimakhu, Osas Ighodaro-Ajibade, Klint D Drunk, Chinedu Ikedieze, Ajebo, Emma Oh my God.

 

Others include Ubi Franklin, Soso Berekon, Noble Igwe, Grace Amah, Nedu, Chuddy K, Zaaki Adzay, Don Flex, DJ Switch, DJ Nana, VJ Adams, Do2tun, Woli Arole, Toyin Lawani, Kayode Peters and many more.

 

NFF President, Amaju Pinnick and Ex-Super eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni also attended the event.

 

Though Eko hotel was packed more than its capacity, Lagosians defied it to listen to comedians like Okey Bakassi, AY, Klint da Drunk, Funke Akindele, Helen Paul, Emma Oh My God and others.

The 2017 edition of AY Live will be one not to forget in a hurry.
